Knowledge base
Give the writer agents your case studies, product notes, and tone of voice so drafts stay accurate.
Writer agents only claim what they can support. The knowledge base is where you put what they may say about your own company: case studies, product and pricing notes, FAQs, objection handling, and tone guides.
How it works
- Add a document under Settings → Knowledge or with
POST /knowledge. - SignalDock splits it into overlapping chunks of about 1,500 characters and
embeds them with
openai/text-embedding-3-smallthrough the AI Gateway, pinned to EU regions. - When an agent writes a draft, it retrieves the four most similar chunks for the opportunity and adds them to the prompt as reference material.
Documents move from pending to indexed (with a chunk count) or failed
(with the error). Editing the content re-indexes the document; deleting it
removes its chunks.
Tips
- One strong, specific case study beats ten generic brochures.
- Write tone guides as rules ("use je, not u, for event agencies").
- Do not paste personal data; the knowledge base is shared by the whole organization.
