KvK Handelsregister
Resolve companies by KvK number and read legal form, SBI codes, and address from the Dutch company registry.
SignalDock uses the KvK APIs Zoeken and Basisprofiel during entity
resolution for organizations whose compliance country is NL.
How it resolves a company
- A KvK number found in the signal is used directly when the signal mentions exactly one company.
- Otherwise SignalDock searches the Handelsregister by name and city, and accepts the result only when exactly one registration matches the normalized name.
- An existing company with that KvK number wins. If none exists, the Basisprofiel fills legal form, SBI codes, visiting address, website, and domain on the new record.
The legal form sets the company's recipient kind. An eenmanszaak, VOF, maatschap or CV counts as a natural person, so cold email needs consent under the Telecommunicatiewet (see Compliance).
Keys
SignalDock has a platform key, so resolution works without setup. To use your own KvK contract, connect KvK Handelsregister under Integrations with your API key. It is stored in Vault and never returned.
A registry outage never blocks the pipeline: resolution falls back to domain and name matching.
